Boheme Embroidery Bowl

Wheel thrown bowl in a red clay body. This type of clay has flecks of manganese which make it gritty to throw on a wheel, but after firing create the speckled look. The manganese also makes this clay body stronger than the porcelain clay I use in my other pieces. The design on this bowl reflects different blooms throughout the growing season. All of these flowers attract evening and nighttime pollinators, having mostly white flowers. 
Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe
