Marigold Blanc Bowl

Wheel thrown bowl in a red clay body. This type of clay has flecks of manganese which make it gritty to throw on a wheel, but after firing create the speckled look. The manganese also makes this clay body stronger than the porcelain clay I use in my other pieces. The design on this bowl reflects an old quilting and print making design combined for beautiful white blooms. 
Dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe
